Throughout the Fall and Spring semesters, the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory hosts students from local community colleges for credit-based internship programs. Students are able to work alongside scientists and engineers at PPPL on relevant projects throughout the semester.
Students who intend on continuing their educational career at a four year institution as well as students who intend on pursuing technical careers in the fields of science, engineering, and technology are encouraged to apply for our semester long positions.
*Please note that the semester-long internships are for local community college students who can commute to and from PPPL independently. The program does not provide travel reimbursement or housing for students.
*In order to participate in the semester-long internships, students must receive course credits from their home institution for their work at PPPL.
