TCHS–CLOµDS Presentation
2012
Students from Trenton Central High School presented their microgravity experiment to school officials as well as scientists and engineers from PPPL on Friday, June 8th. Summarizing their entire year, they explained how they were first inspired by how surface tension causes water to form perfect spheres in microgravity, and how numerous experiments led to the creation of their final experiment. They intend to learn more about how fluids of different densities mix together in the experiment to be flown on NASA's "Weightless Wonder." You can view their final presentation at TCHS–CLOµDS Presentation.pdf or TCHS–CLOµDS Presentation.mov.
The students were also treated to a special tour of laboratory. Their accomplishments were also recognized by the Times of Trenton in an article and editorial. Photos are here.
